Fuelled by a shared passion for acoustic roots rock, hook-laden songwriter pop, and folky Americana, Rab and Brooks met in 2018, and their Scotland-USA Trans-Atlantic collaboration proved inevitable, and after getting together to write songs, the plan to perform was hatched.

A rootsy songwriter, Williams is ranked in the “Top 100 Acoustic Guitarists” with a voice to “just melt into”. Noakes is a legendary and acclaimed Scottish singer-songwriter, producer, guitarist with an incredible back catalogue.

Throughout their distinguished careers, Rab and Brooks have collaborated with many famous names, including Lindisfarne, Barbara Dickson, Gerry Rafferty, Chris Difford, Dave Kelly & Paul Jones, and Celtic Connections.

This event is in association with Northwich Folk Club as part of their “Folk Fortnight” programme, and support will be from LIMITED EDITION, the club’s own multi-part harmony group.
