Festival for the Future: Family Film

23 July @ 11.00am - 12.30pm

Booking essential
Pack your favourite snacks and enjoy a free screening of ‘The Lorax’ (2012) in our onsite cinema! The story is an adaptation of Dr Seuss’s 1971 children’s book, set in a land where plants and vegetation are artificial, and oxygen is bottled as a commodity. A young boy embarks on a quest to find the guardian of the forest and replenish what was lost. PG rated.
To book tickets, please email weaverhalladmin@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk or phone 01606 271640.
Inspired by #PlasticFreeJuly, Festival for the Future is a month-long, community-driven celebration of sustainability and climate initiatives spanning all four museum sites. Co-curated by community members, local organisations and sustainability groups, it combines education around sustainability and climate issues with creative responses, and gives local people a platform for sharing their work.
