Charles Kingsley: Christian Socialist and Natural Historian

This exhibition commemorates the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Kingsley (1819-1875).

David Ferry: The Invader’s Guide to the Museum (and other places)

1 April - 2 June
Guide books on travel, history, gardening, cooking, knitting have provided David Ferry with material for his collages that explore our national heritage. Alongside his prints and books, this exhibition gives alternative interpretations of the Grosvenor Museum’s collections, through David’s selected interventions throughout the museum.

Chester’s Grosvenor Museum announces its 13th Open Art Exhibition. This will present the best in contemporary art from the region, giving artists in the area a chance to show their work and providing a diverse and stimulating exhibition for the public.

Grosvenor Park Archaeological Excavation

Cheshire West and Chester Council’s archaeologists, in partnership with the University of Chester, are running their annual training excavation for 2nd year archaeology students in Grosvenor Park.
