The People of Roman Chester

Lecture Theatre Free. A chance to learn about some of the people of Roman Chester – men and women, soldiers and civilians, young and old, slave and free. Dr Peter Carrington’s illustrated talk is based on the Grosvenor Museum’s internationally important collection of tombstones, followed by an optional tour of the Stories in Stone gallery. Chester Archaeological Society Conference
