Yesterday’s Chester: How we Lived, Played and Worked

18 January @ 2.00pm - 3.30pm

Free, but donations welcome:  booking essential at Chester History & Heritage 01244 972210.

This double-bill filmshow takes a fascinating look at Chester through the 20th century.  Our newly obtained second volume of Chester Memories shows trams, buses and steam trains alongside people and familiar streets as well as a nostalgic look around the city in 1976.  Following this charming film we present the innovative 1975 Donald Insall production of The Conservation Game, which shows the many changes which were taking place in the city at that time.
