Water and Wildlife – Woollen Woods
After the success of the last two year’s Woollen Woods at Stretton Watermill another exhibition is planned. As last year we want to encourage a wide range of crafters to submit their creations to this fantastic event.
The mill is calling out to makers out there to create something to be part of our outdoor exhibition. Could you crochet a ladybird, felt a fish or turn a toadstool? We’d love to invite you to contribute a crafted ‘something’ on the theme of ‘Water and Wildlife’ to this fantastic site. All sorts of materials and techniques are welcome.
The creations will be installed on site w/c 20 May
And will be on view to the public from Saturday 25 May – Sunday 29 September.
Please check the website before visiting for opening times or call 01606 271641.
There will also be workshop events on site on 11 & 12 May to encourage members of the public to create works for the exhibition – This is part of the BBC’s Get Creative campaign.
