Northwich in Stitch

21 July - 4 November
An exhibition of textile and mixed media work by the Breakaway group, inspired by items in the museum collection, local waterways, structures and the Northwich Union Workhouse which once occupied the museum building.

10am-4pm, Prepare yourself for battle and make a shield to take home.

Paint a Masterpiece

8 August - 9 August
10am-4pm, drop-in. £1.80 per child. Picasso, Lowry, Monet. Just three great Artists. Are you one too? Come and find out. Produce your own masterpiece to exhibit at home.

Roman Clay Pots

15 August - 16 August
10am-4pm, drop-in. £1.80 per child. What did the Romans do for us? Well, Roman pots for one! See some 2,000 year old pottery in the museum then make your own pot.

Clay Tiles

22 August - 23 August
10am-4pm, drop-in. £1.80 per child. Make a decorative clay tile to take home.

Teddy Bears Picnic

24 August @ 12.00pm - 3.00pm
Bring your own picnic and join us for a fun filled afternoon of storytelling and crafts, suitable for early years.

Build your own Historic Site

29 August - 30 August
10am-4pm, drop-in. £1.80 per child. Stonehenge, the Pyramids or the Lion Salt Works! Build a model of your favourite historical site.

Heritage Open Days

Free. Weaver Hall Museum is housed in the old Northwich Union Workhouse, a grade II listed building dating from 1837-39.
