Charles Kingsley: Christian Socialist and Natural Historian

This exhibition commemorates the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Kingsley (1819-1875).

Calling all Craft makers

After the success of the last two year’s Woollen Woods at Stretton Watermill another exhibition is planned. As last year we want to encourage a wide range of crafters to submit their creations to this fantastic event.

Chester Heritage Festival Launch: Roman Day

This year’s Heritage Festival will be launched at the Roman Day on Britain’s oldest racecourse, established in 1539. At this family-friendly race day, youngsters can learn fascinating facts about their Cestrian ancestors and witness spectacular sporting displays both on and off the track.

David Ferry makes surreal books by sticking pictures from one type of book onto the pages of another. Come and make your own little book filled with pictures you’ve chosen and cut out of magazines, and write a story to go with the pictures.
